皆さんの歯が金属で詰め物になっている場合があると思います。金属はそれでいて長持ちする事が多いのですが、流石に今の時代では流行りません。多くの患者さんは金属ではなくて、白いセラミックを希望されているのが現状です。しかし、残念ながら、金属の方が歯を削る量は少なくて済みます。ご存じでしたでしょうか？したがって、年配の患者さんや、歯をあまり切削したくない患者さんの場合は金属を選択される場合もあるのです。
ここに示したのは白い歯が良いと判断された患者さんの例です。

もちろん白い歯の方が断然いいですよね。自然ですし。
ここではセラミックの詰め物が出来てくるまでの間は、仮の白い詰め物をいれておきます。取れることもありますから、ご注意お願い致します。

Some of you may have metal fillings in your teeth. While metal is durable, it is no longer in vogue today. Many patients now prefer white ceramic fillings. Unfortunately, metal requires less tooth removal. Did you know that? Therefore, metal may be chosen for older patients or those who prefer minimal tooth removal.
The examples shown here are cases where patients opted for white teeth.
Of course, white teeth are better, aren’t they? They look more natural.
In the meantime, we will place temporary white fillings until the ceramic fillings are ready. Please note that these may come out, so please be careful.
